Dermal fillers are an excellent solution to address the signs of ageing, particularly nasolabial folds (the lines running from the nose to the corners of the mouth) and marionette lines (the vertical lines that form from the mouth down to the chin). These lines can deepen over time due to natural volume loss, facial sagging, and decreased skin elasticity.

What Are Dermal Fillers for Nasolabial Folds & Marionette Lines?
Dermal fillers are injectable gels made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar molecule in the body. For treating nasolabial folds (the lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth) and marionette lines (the vertical lines running from the mouth to the chin), hyaluronic acid is synthetically produced and used to restore lost volume and smooth out deep creases.
As hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the body, it is considered one of the safest options available, with a low risk of adverse reactions.
By replenishing the skin’s hyaluronic acid levels, dermal fillers revitalise the skin, plumping and smoothing the areas around the nose and mouth, creating a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
Benefits of Nasolabial Folds & Marionette Lines
How Do Dermal Fillers Work for Nasolabial Folds & Marionette Lines?
As we age, we naturally lose volume in the face, particularly in areas like the nasolabial folds (the lines running from the nose to the mouth) and the marionette lines (the lines that run vertically from the corners of the mouth to the chin). This loss of volume leads to the appearance of deeper wrinkles and sagging. Dermal fillers offer a highly effective way to address these concerns.
Using hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers, we can restore volume and smooth out these deep lines and folds. The filler is injected using ultra-fine needles into the targeted areas, where it instantly lifts, plumps, and softens the appearance of nasolabial and marionette lines.
The results are visible immediately, leaving the skin looking rejuvenated and refreshed as these facial creases and wrinkles are reduced. As hyaluronic acid naturally breaks down in the body over time, the treatment provides temporary, yet safe and effective, results.
Important Information
It is important that you arrive at your appointment with no makeup on the day of treatment and you must not reapply makeup for 24 hours in order to reduce the risk of infection or irritation at the injection sites.
There is no real downtime to this procedure, but aftercare is advised.
For the first 24 hours, alongside avoiding makeup, the following is also advised - no touching the area, no excessive sweating or heat so no sunbeds, swimming, gym, saunas, steam rooms etc… no alcohol and you must refrain from placing any pressure on the treatment area for the first week post treatment.

Instantly Reduces Deep Lines
Dermal fillers immediately soften and reduce the appearance of nasolabial and marionette lines, restoring a smoother, more youthful look.
Restores Facial Volume
As we age, we lose volume in areas around the mouth. Fillers restore this lost volume, lifting and plumping the skin to bring back a fuller, natural appearance.
Rejuvenates the Face
By targeting the lines around the mouth, dermal fillers not only smooth out wrinkles but also rejuvenate the overall appearance of the face, giving it a refreshed, vibrant look.
Improves Facial Contours
Dermal fillers enhance and define the contours of the face, especially around the cheeks, chin, and mouth, creating a more sculpted and balanced look.
Non-Surgical Solution
Dermal fillers offer a minimally invasive, non-surgical way to smooth out nasolabial and marionette lines with no need for recovery time or lengthy procedures.
Long-Lasting Results
While the treatment is temporary, the effects of dermal fillers can last between 3-6 months, providing long-lasting results with a natural and refreshed appearance.
