Once injected, the deoxycholic acid disrupts the fat cell membrane, causing the cells to become unstable and dissolve. • Refrain from certain supplements such as St. John’s Wort, fish oils, garlic, Ginkgo Biloba, and vitamins A–E for the same period.

• Avoid alcohol for at least 2 days before and 2 days after treatment, as it can also increase the likelihood of bruising.

• To help reduce swelling and bruising, consider taking Arnica tablets 5 days before your appointment.

• You may also apply Arnica cream or gel in the evenings after treatment to support healing and minimise inflammation.
